We will consider drug strategies, drugs that reduce cardiac work, and the pharmacology of nitrates and nitrites. This lecture then moves to further study of myocardial infarctions, congestive heart failure, and drugs and their pathophysiological cycle in heart failure as well as treatment of chronic congestive heart failure. Finally this lecture discusses diuretics, vasodilators, drug targets, other drugs available, and cardiac myocytes.
